Aone, a Leipzig-based company of the Tilia Group, is contributing to Vietnam’s sustainable growth through projects providing sustainable and efficient energy and water solutions.

After a construction period of only eleven months, the company commissioned the Song Duong waste water treatment plant in Hanoi at the beginning of September 2019. It supplies around 200,000 cubic metres of clean drinking water per day to approx. 1.5 million inhabitants of the Vietnamese capital. A similar plant was successfully built and put into operation by Aone at the end of 2018.

In a next stage, the partners will install a 10 MWp photovoltaic system on the rooftop of this new water treatment plant. Last year, Aone signed the corresponding letter of intent in Hanoi in the presence of the Saxony Minister of Economic Affairs, Martin Dulig, while the Minister and a business delegation were vesting this Southeast Asian country.
