CUSTOMER OBJECTIVES

  • To develop and implement a modern, sustainable heat supply concept for a new housing estate containing around 300 residential properties built over several construction phases

OUR SERVICES/PROJECT SCOPE

  • Host workshops to bring all municipal players on board and take account of their differing interests
  • TTechnical and economic development of alternative scenarios for heating and electricity supply (including ice storage with heat pumps, biomass and CHP); presentation in a long-term business plan, including ecological evaluation of each alternative

RESULTS

  • Decision made to implement a combined solution of CHP and district heating to supply a district with heat
  • Low primary energy factor of 0.35, high CHP share of 91%, low CO2 emissions of 90 g/kWhth
  • Concept for the implementation of a tenant electricity supply from PV roof systems developed and recommended

SPECIFICS

  • Heat supply project currently being implemented (launch 2020)
  • Tilia plays and active role in the implementation and is responsible for project management and control
