CUSTOMER OBJECTIVES

• To carry out all necessary groundwork to be able to apply for funding from the German government for the expansion of broadband, with the aim of improving the availability of broadband for all homes and companies

• Market survey: Analysis and assessment of the current broadband situation, including identification of underserved areas
• Investigation and evaluation of self-financed expansion
• Identification of areas to be developed by high and medium power IT
• Determination of the optimal funding model for the different local authorities to expand broadband in any underserved areas
• Preparation of all technical and commercial planning documents

RESULTS

• Well defined expansion targets in selected areas to ensure a significant improvement of bandwidth enabling a downstream speed of > 100 mbps
• Detailed network planning and cost estimation of the FTTC or FTTB expansion
• Profitability calculation and development of an operating model
