Against the backdrop of the increasing diversification of global supply chains and the growing interest of European companies in Southeast Asia, EVIP Can Tho is to be developed as an industrial park meeting European standards. The goal is to offer international companies a stable production site in Vietnam with long-term expansion potential.
“We at Aone have gained extensive experience with infrastructure projects in the Vietnamese market and are convinced of the synergies that German-Vietnamese cooperation can bring. In this regard, we are pleased to be able to support the EVIP Industrial Park with our expertise.”

Can Tho – Industrial and Logistics Hub of the Mekong Delta
EVIP is located in the city of Can Tho, the economic hub of the Mekong Delta. The region has a population of more than 20 million and is considered one of Vietnam’s most important agricultural and aquaculture centers.
From Can Tho, companies can reach the metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City via the expressway network currently under expansion, while also having access to a network of seaports, inland ports, and an international airport for logistics and export activities.
A large labor pool, competitive production costs, and extensive regional supply chains create favorable conditions for the development of food processing, aquaculture processing, supporting industries, mechanical engineering, equipment technology, logistics, environmental technology, and energy.
For German and European companies, the region offers the opportunity to establish a new production site at competitive costs while gaining access to the Vietnamese domestic market, the ASEAN region, and international export markets.
Comprehensive investor support based on the one-stop service principle
EVIP Can Tho is structured as an investment platform based on the one-stop service principle.
In addition to providing industrial infrastructure, the project developer plans to support investors with site evaluation, investment procedures, company formation, personnel recruitment, connections to construction companies, the development of standard factories and custom-built production facilities, as well as turnkey solutions.
For projects that meet the legal requirements in Vietnam, investors can take advantage of tax incentives and other support mechanisms in accordance with applicable regulations.
Three Pillars of Cooperation with German Partners
The agreements signed in Leipzig focus on key areas for the development of EVIP Can Tho.
The cooperation with the Leipzig Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Leipzig) aims to connect German companies with investment opportunities in Vietnam, strengthen trade and investment promotion, and support the development of qualified skilled workers.
The collaboration with Aone Deutschland AG, represented by Mr. Alexander Redeker, CEO of Aone, focuses on evaluating and developing solutions in the areas of wastewater treatment and environmental technology for the industrial park.
The collaboration with Tilia, represented by Mr. Christophe Hug, Managing Director of Tilia GmbH, covers topics such as water infrastructure, sustainable energy supply, CO₂ reduction, and the integration of ESG standards into the planning, development, and operation of the industrial park.
These three areas of cooperation are intended to provide EVIP Can Tho with access to German expertise, technological know-how, and proven models for sustainable industrial park development.
“The Mekong Delta is one of Southeast Asia’s most exciting industrial locations, offering competitive conditions in the global market. The ongoing expansion of infrastructure is creating a dynamic environment in which European companies can tap into new opportunities while benefiting from the momentum of one of Asia’s fastest-growing regions. Can Tho is emerging as a strategic hub for industry, logistics, and international cooperation. We view Vietnam as a key component of global value chains and aim to make a long-term contribution to the region’s economic development through our commitment.”

The participation of Mr. Christophe Hug, Managing Director of Tilia GmbH, and Mr. Alexander Redeker, CEO of Aone Deutschland AG, in the signing ceremony underscores the commitment of German partners to support EVIP Can Tho in the areas of water infrastructure, wastewater treatment, sustainable energy, environmental technology, and ESG-oriented industrial park development.
Toward a New Production Hub for European Companies in Vietnam
The global diversification of supply chains is creating new opportunities for investment locations with stable infrastructure, competitive costs, and long-term development potential.
With its location in the heart of the Mekong Delta, an integrated technical infrastructure, a stable industrial water supply, collaboration with German partners, and alignment with European standards, EVIP Can Tho is set to become a new location option for German and European companies looking to expand their production activities in Vietnam.
