We are pleased to take over the overall project management of the SMARTCity strategy in Gera together with the SMARTCity team of the city.
Since July 2019, the city of Gera can call itself the model city SMARTCity. The city, along with over 100 other municipalities from all over Germany, applied to the Federal Ministry of the Interior and was awarded the contract. This involves funding of around eight million euros over a period of seven years. As one of 13 model municipalities supported by KfW, the city of Gera has a focus on the sustainable and intelligent design of integrated urban development.
